HAITI RELIEF PROJECT

On January 12, 2010, HAITI, a fellow Caribbean Nation, was hit by a 7.0 earthquake, one of the worst in recent history. The quake had a devastating effect on the island; structures collapsed or were severally damaged, many lives were lost, people were injured and left homeless. Families were separated and displaced.

The response by the international community has been great.  People from many different countries became apart of the relief effort by donating anything they could to various organizations assisting with relief in HAITI.

Jamaica Link Ministries became apart of that relief effort by partnering with other organizations. Through these partnerships over 12,400 lbs of food supplies were sent to Haiti.
